How to create a Hyperlink
Here are a few simple steps of how to create a hyperlink for your Jotter site.
Log into School Jotter
First of all you will need to log into your School Jotter account by administering the site at the bottom of the website.
Once logged in on the dashboard select the green site title.
Select the edit page button on the green bar at the top.
Next, select insert item and choose the text option.
From the options on the page choose your desired location for the text.
Type out the text you wish to display. Any amendments can be made to the font, colour or size here by highlighting all the text.
Once happy with your text, on the right-hand side of the grey tool bar choose the blue link icon named 'insert edit link'.
There are different options you can link your text to, such as a URL, page on the site or a file.
Selecting an option
For a URL copy the URL from the external page and paste this into the field box. For a page select one of the pages from the drop-down options and for a file select a file from your Jotter file area or from your devices files.
Save and Publish
Press OK and then save and publish on the green toolbar to see the changes.
